I took my Domane in for its yearly service and was expecting a large bill, as I thought the bottom bracket had gone. Luckily, the annoying creak coming from that area turned out to be loose crank-arm bolts. That was an easy fix and covered by the cost of the service.
The bike did need a new tyre and chain, though. Luckily, I had only just bought the tyre and ordered a pre-waxed chain, so I can take care of those soon.
Since the sun was out and my bike was freshly serviced, I didn’t want to waste the opportunity and rode home..
