This is the first sportive or organised ride I have been able to do since the London to Southend ride in July. And what a return to cycling events it was. Great route, very well signposted and with two nice climbs near the end. Fantastic weather with a cooling breeze, not strong enough to be classed as a headwind. And I was delighted with my time too.
